Tracking reports show a young person's current performance and target grade as well as behaviour, effort and homework ratings. Reports also include comments from teachers which are a summary of the next learning steps that have been agreed with pupils and should provide young people with specific support as they progress through their subjects or courses. 

S1-S3

Junior pupils receive a report once a year. This provides you with an estimate on their Curriculum For Excellence grade, as they are not sitting any exams.

What is current performance based on?

The Working Grade is based on robust evidence to date, recognising that young people are only part-way through the course.  This is not a prediction or estimate of expected final performance.

What is a target grade?

These aspirational grades are agreed between pupil and teacher at the beginning of the school year and are what your child was aiming for. This does not reflect current performance.
