YOYP's Diverse CiTay Festival 2018
Scotland’s Year of Young People (YOYP) 2018 is a full year dedicated to young people and is a once in a lifetime opportunity to show our young people how important, valued and proud we are of them. YOYP also recognises and celebrates the role of those who make a difference to young lives.
The year will be packed with events, co-designed by young people, all over Scotland for all ages to enjoy. There are 500 Ambassadors representing every local authority across Scotland who will challenge negative stereotypes of young people by working with other generations. They will also use platforms such as local media to make sure their voices are heard as well as their peers, and make sure everyone hears about YOYP 2018.
Perth’s YOYP signature event is the Diverse CiTay Festival which will be held on Saturday 23 June 2018 in Perth city centre from 12 noon to late. The Festival is being co-designed by young people in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council, Horsecross Arts, Culture Perth and Kinross and Perth College UHI. More information about the event can be found here.
