S2 Home Economics

Course Overview

In S2, our pupils attend for 1 period every week, with lessons alternating between practical and theory. 

The main unit in S2:

Contemporay Food Issues

Food practicals include: sausage kebabs, spaghetti bolognaise, macaroni cheese, salmon & pesto pasta, potato & leek soup, bread & butter pudding, chicken chow mein, shortbread trees, banana crumble bites, beefburger.  (Recipes are subject to change.)

The antcipated cost of the course is £15. This is to cover the ingredients required for cooking.
